Two labs, the same week, the same primitives: Claude Code shipped agent view, /goal, and +50% limits while Codex shipped mobile, Windows, and hooks — a convergence on how humans supervise N agents. Anthropic patched the alignment crack from the week before — blackmail rates from 96% to 0% by teaching the model why — and published the constitution it trains on. Meanwhile the enterprise distribution land grab got expensive: OpenAI’s $4B Deployment Company, Daybreak for cyber defenders, and Notion’s bid to be the agent substrate.
