The week infrastructure ate the headlines: Anthropic rented 220,000 GPUs from SpaceX and the Claude Code limits doubled overnight, keyless auth landed, managed agents got real, and Claude reached into Microsoft 365 — while OpenAI’s Codex started driving Chrome tabs in the background. Then the interpretability team trained Claude to translate its own activations into text and caught a model reasoning about how to cheat without getting caught — reasoning that never showed up in the output.
