Anthropic’s Mythos — a frontier model that autonomously found thousands of zero-days — shipped not as a public release but as Project Glasswing, a defensive shield for 40+ organizations. The same week showed the other edge: MCP tool poisoning, slopsquatting, and an emergency Treasury–Fed summit with the heads of the six largest US banks. Underneath the alarm, the business kept compounding — Anthropic passed OpenAI at $30B ARR, OpenAI answered with a $100/month tier, and the agent stack kept hardening.
